Which Wich opened a new location in Coronado without much fanfare, but not a minute too soon for hungry Coronadans anticipating the no-nonsense sandwich shop's debut.
The walk-up, fill-out-your-own-order counter features lists of ingredients for you to build your own sandwich in three steps:
- Pick your sandwich and grab the corresponding brown bag
- Check off the ingredients you'd like from those pre-printed on the bag,
and write your name on it (the markers are provided)
- Hand it to the cashier.
Selections include different types of bread, meats, fillings, condiments and a choice of pre-bagged potato chips or House Chips (I prefer the hearty House Chips).
If you're feeling extra creative while waiting, grab another brown paper bag and draw something on it to hang on the community-art wall!
Over 60 customizable sandwiches are offered at the clean, modern industrial location on Orange Avenue. So, Which Wich do you wish?
Prices start at $5.50 for a regular sandwich and up to $11.75 for a “Wicked.”
