Jeanne Lassus Marden, Retired Mail Carrier, Dies at 82

Jeanne Lassus Marden was a resident at Coronado Retirement Village and long-time resident in Napa.

Jeanne Lassus Marden, a resident at Coronado Retirement Village, died Sept. 26 at the age of 82. Marden was a long-time Napa resident, a retired airman first class in the Air Force and mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, according to the Napa Valley Register.

The Napa Valley newspaper said Marden, who moved to Coronado in 2009, was a mother of five children. She also had 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by her stepfather, Phil Cornelius of East Dubuque, Ill.; brother, George Lassus of Buckeye, Ariz.; sons, Michael Bowlin of Winters, Calif., Gary Bowlin of Phoenix and Mark Marden of Napa; and daughters Kathleen Marden Cooney of Napa and Cherie Bowlin Collins of Coronado.
