Mrs. Key received her diploma from CHS in 1942.
Gertrude Lowthian Key, who graduated from Coronado High School in 1942, died last month. Her services are set for Wednesday in Dallas, according to Legacy.com.
She was born in 1924. The mother of two was a devout Baptist who went by the nickname Trudy. She also enjoyed the violin and her book club.
She served as a switchboard operator during World War II and later as a bookkeeper and receptionist.
