Douglas G. Ewen Jr. Dies at 62; New York Resident Graduated, Married in Coronado
He had been employed by the Oneida Indian Nation and earlier worked for USAirways and AmTrak.
Douglas G. Ewen Jr.—a Coronado High School graduate who lived in New York state—died April 1 after a week in Upstate University Medical Center, according to an obituary in the Oneida (N.Y.) Dispatch.
He was 62.
Ewen graduated from San Diego City College and married Rebecca Prior in Coronado on Feb. 13, 1993 said his death notice.

“Ewen had currently been employed by the Oneida Indian Nation and had previously been employed by USAirways and AmTrak. He had a great interest in all transportation fields and traveling and was a collector of matchbook covers,” said his obituary.
Survivors besides his wife, Rebecca, include one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Lowell Billings of Coronado.

Funeral services were set for 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, at Campbell-Dean Funeral Home in Oneida.
