Navy Conducting Training Exercises off Silver Strand Thursday and Friday
The training will be conducted off the Silver Strand Training Complex, south of Coronado.

The Navy is conducting training exercises involving small arms blanks, smoke and flash bang grenades, and small boats operating off the ocean beaches of Silver Strand Training Complex South, north of Imperial Beach on Jan. 16 and 17, between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.
This training will be conducted in a manner to avoid contact with the public for safety and security. The Navy recognizes the importance of being good neighbors with the local communities and makes every effort to abate noise when possible.
