Coronado Ferry was transformed into Snow Mountain on Friday for the arrival of Santa. The big guy in red arrived by ferry and enjoyed visiting with children and seeing all the holiday festivities, which included Snow Mountain made of real snow.
The small hill constructed of the cold, wet snow on First Street attracted hundreds of children that slide down the slope, made snowballs and even tiny snowmen with family and friends.
In addition, families enjoyed holiday crafts and activities at the Ferry Landing before the big Christmas Parade down Orange Avenue in the evening.
