Santa Sails into Coronado

The Jolly One will be at Ferry Landing on Friday, as well as lots o' snow, as the community celebrates the holidays with music, crafts and a parade.

 

once again. So round up the family and visit Ferry Landing this weekend for some holiday fun.

Friday, you can spend the entire day outdoors at the water’s edge. Santa will be available for some facetime and photos, so dress your kids in their cutest holiday outfits and snap some memories.

Aside from the jolly old man giving his Christmas cheer, there will be local bands providing live entertainment, including Jingle Brass, and refreshments to keep the crowd fueled.

The Coronado Recreation Department will be on hand with holiday crafts to keep the kids busy and Snow Mountain will be back again to provide icy fun.

The night will culminate with Santa lighting the 75-foot Rotary Park pine Christmas tree, followed by holiday music to send the (hopefully happy) guests home.

Ready to visit Santa and have some snowy adventures? Visit Coronado’s Ferry Landing on Friday from 3-8 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

  • 3- 8 p.m.: Recreation Department's Snow Mountain at the Ferry Landing
  • 3:20 p.m.: Santa arrives at the Ferry Landing Marketplace
  • 5:30-9 p.m.: Merchants Open House on Orange Avenue
  • 6-7 p.m.: Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Parade down Orange Avenue
  • 7 p.m.: Lighting of the Rotary Park Christmas Tree
  • 7:15 p.m.: Coronado Community Band Concert in Rotary Park
  • 7:15 p.m.: Concert at 9th & Orange - Live Band
