Movember Getting Hairy for Coronado-Based Blue Bridge Hospitality

Blue Bridge Hospitality is hosting a mustache contest in Coronado to celebrate Movember!

How are you celebrating Movember? Are you growing out your mustache to epic portions? Are you channeling your Tom Selleck, Burt Reynolds or Freddie Mercury?

In Coronado, Blue Bridge Hospitality is celebrating the month by hosting a mustache contest.

While it's too late to enter (the deadline was Nov. 5), it's early enough to mark your calendar to attend the official judging! The location has yet to be determined. Patch promises to keep you posted.

Blue Bridge Hospitality, owner of Coronado Coffee Company, Leroy's Kitchen + Lounge, Lil Piggy's Bar-B-Q, MooTime Creamery and Village Pizzeria, said 11 contestants qualified for the fun contest. They are currently working to grow the biggest, weirdest or manliest stache.

The winner will win a private chef's dinner for eight held in Leroy's private dining room prepared by Executive Chef JC Colón and $500 will be donated in the winner's honor to The Men's Health Network.

Movember, a global charity event, encourages men to join the movement by growing a moustache for the 30-days of November. The month-long event shines focus on men's health, similar to Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
