100 Foods To Eat Before You Die – Do You Dare?

According to the Facebook quiz, most people have tried about 20 of the 100 items. How many have you eaten?

A list of 100 foods to try before you die is gaining traction.

The Facebook list, which is really a quiz to shame you into trying more foods or in some cases brag to friends about how culinarily adventurous you are, has been gaining popularity.

Some of the things on the list are every day items here in Southern California. We are pretty sure you have had a fish taco and a mimosa at a brunch. But have you tried kangaroo, shark, squirrel or something called umeboshi? (We Googled for you. It is pickled ume fruit, like a plum or apricot.)

So get out a pen and tally each of the foods you've tried on this list. Then let us know how many you've sampled in the comments section below and tell us where you find them in Coronado or locally.
