Military Family Gives Up Cat

Buttons, a brown tabby, is available for adoption in Coronado.

Editor's Note: PAWS of Coronado released the following announcement about Buttons.

Buttons is quite confused about the turn of events in her life. Inky and she were originally adopted as kittens from PAWS of Coronado back in December 2012 to a military family. About six months ago, the family then brought Pearl home as a feline companion to Buttons and Inky.

But then when the family was recently scheduled to move, they relinquished all three cats to the Coronado Animal Care Facility and none of the cats can understand why.

Buttons is trying not to let her circumstances get her down and is using her charming personality to make the best of things.

At just a year and a half old, she is still very playful and enjoys the company of people and other cats. She is the more confident of the three cats and is making herself at home at the facility while she waits for her new family to come discover her.
