Editor's Note: PAWS of Coronado released the following adoption announcement.

When Lucy’s person expanded her human family, it was decided that Lucy didn’t fit in and she was relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility.

We can’t understand how anyone could give up this delightful girl. She has a sparkling personality and meows a soft hello to everyone she meets. She paws at the window of her room, tilts her head and allorubs to try to convince anyone walking by to come on in and spend some time with her.

Lucy is a super affectionate and gentle girl who gets really happy when people visit with her. She is very easy going and nothing seems to rattle her. Her purr is immediate and steady and she rewards back pets with the most lovely elevator butt.

Lucy has had a thorough physical and senior blood panel and is in purrfect health. She has many more years of snuggling and loving to give a new person.

Are you looking for an experienced feline who knows her way around a home and a lap? Come meet Lucy and she will quickly show you that she is the cat for you!

You can meet Lucy at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Lucy, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat Adoption Counselors are on call every day the ACF is open from noon to 3 p.m.

If you have any questions, please call Bob at 619-840-9727.
