Wizard of Oz themed Yappy Hour at Hotel del Coronado
Join animal lovers and Wizard of Oz enthusiasts alike at an Oz-themed “Yappy Hour”
where dogs can lap up complimentary Evian water and “yappatizers” (organic gourmet
dog treats), while their owners sip on Oz-inspired drinks such as the Kansas Twister and
Ruby Slipper on Sundays in August from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at the Sun Deck Bar & Grill
located at Hotel del Coronado at 1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado, CA.
In celebration of the 50th Annual Wizard of Oz Convention, come dressed as your
favorite Oz character on August 3 for a chance to win a 2-night stay at The Del and gift
cards to Wag’n Tails pet store.
From July 28 through August 31, Hotel del Coronado will also be hosting a “Toto Photo”
Contest. Follow @DelCoronado on Instagram and share photos of your cat or dog in Oz-
themed garb using #DelTotoPhoto for a chance to win a Del Beach Day Package
complete with cabana and lounge chair set-up.
