Military First-Time Home Buyer Workshop

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Greater San Diego Association of REALTORS (SDAR) will host a free workshop to benefit active and retired military personnel on Saturday, Nov. 16. The workshop will help educate military first-time homebuyers and homebuyers re-entering the market on how to achieve their dream of home ownership.  

Participants will learn the steps necessary to become purchase ready from fixing credit to using VA benefits. Expert military veteran Realtor and a renowned VA home loan specialist will lead the workshop.

“SDAR thanks the active military and veterans for their service to our country. This workshop is a salute to our service members. As Realtor in a military town like San Diego we a have a special duty to make sure our soldiers have a home,” said SDAR Board President Linda Lee. “There is no greater joy for a Realtor than helping a buyer realize their dream of homeownership.”

This workshop is part of a National Association of Realtors grant to support our military community and help build a stronger homeowner community.
