In celebration with Peace and Humanity Day, the San Diego–Worldwide Initiative to Safeguard Humanity (SD-WISH) will host the event Floating of Paper Lanterns.
Floating paper lanterns will have written messages to the world celebrating peace.
Materials to make paper lanterns will be provided for free.
The event will also feature food, origami, exhibits, presentations, live music and more.
Floating of Paper Lanterns Ceremony will kick off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.
