Weather Forecast Offers Up Relief Through the Weekend

Expect more comfortable temperatures in the coming days.

The weather's been warm, really warm, even in Coronado. 

The National Weather Service forecasts more moderate weather this week, as families prepare to send their children back to class. Monday will likely be the best beach day with the warmest temperatures. Nights will cool down to 62 to 67 degrees.

  • Monday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Southwest wind around 5 mph in the afternoon, slowing in the evening. Low around 66. 
  • Tuesday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 71. Light southwest wind from 5-10 mph in the afternoon. Low around 65. 
  • Wednesday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. then mostly sunny with a high near 71. Low around 64.
  • Thursday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m., then gradual clearing, with a high near 72. Low around 62.
  • Friday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m., then gradual clearing, with a high near 69. Low around 65.
  • Saturday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 69. Low around 65.
  • Sunday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 70.
