The sunny weather will continue this week, though temperatures will be milder in Coronado and along the coast, they will soar north of 90 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday in other parts of the county.
The National Weather Service forecast for the last week of August in Coronado:
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 77. Northwest wind up to 15 mph with gusts of 20 mph. Low of 66, with late patchy fog expected.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 75. More wind expected. Low of 69.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 75. Lighter winds. Low of 67.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 73. Low of 66, with increasing clouds.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 72 and a low of 65.
