Patch Pets: May and Chad

Sibling kittens hope to find a home where they can stay together.

May and Chad are siblings who were born in a neighbor’s garage and are now learning to understand how we humans fit into the scheme of things.

They are a riot: Chad apparently is studying to be the featured acrobat in Cirque de Soleil, and May is his prized assistant. If you even whisper that you want to play with “the string,” they get to work showing you their ability to twist, spin and jump.

They find comfort in one another, so for them to stay together would allow them to flourish. Chad can be shy in new surroundings and will need a quiet environment in which to acclimate. A foster home option would be welcome as well.

We have more kittens to choose from and adult cats too. It is a fun time to visit the Coronado Animal Care Facility, 1395 First St., next to the Ferry Landing, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Though there is an adoption application and interview, home visits are deferred for cats at this time.  Adoption fee is $50 for one cat, $25 for a second. All cats and dogs will have been spayed/neutered, with current immunizations and microchip upon adoption.  You can find a complete list of adoptable animals on  pawsofcoronado.org and petfinders.com
