Rain to Continue Through Tuesday Morning to Kick Off Cool May Week

The region returns to sweater weather after last week's mini heat wave.

The heat from Thursday and Friday has been dampened by rain, which is expected to continue through Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The rain was brought on by upper low pressure and is expected to stick
around through Tuesday. The low pressure system off the central California coast also led to stronger onshore flow across the southern portion of the state.

Warming temps are expected by the weekend in Coronado after a week with highs in the mid-to-low 60s.
