New video footage reveals the actions of a Coronado-based Navy SEAL accused of going on a violent rampage last year in Las Vegas. The footage surfaced after the suspect appeared in court on Tuesday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

Petty Officer 3rd Class Luke James Shawley, 23, has been charged with several felonies, including battery with a deadly weapon and battery on an officer, according to the Union-Tribune’s Jeanette Steele.

Shawley’s trial is scheduled to begin Aug. 1. For now, he will continue to work with the SEALs at the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado.
