Coronado High QB Competes in Elite 11 Prep Football Showcase

The Elite 11 football camps have attracted the likes of Andrew Luck, Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez and more.

Jordan Narramore, a quarterback at Coronado High School, is participating Friday in an invite-only camp that is considered a major proving ground for preps with college- and NFL-aspirations.

The Elite 11 Quarterback Camp is meeting in San Francisco Friday. It has several stops this year, including Dallas, Chicago and Washington D.C., before the final camp will be held in Oregon in June.

Jordan is not the only San Diego-area athlete going to the Elite 11 camp. Anthony Lawrence of Grossmont High School in El Cajon also was invited.

Earlier participants will be chosen for the Oregon event based on their performance at the regionals. Former pro quarterback Trent Dilfer, now an ESPN commentator, leads the camps.

Jordan has received another honor for the summer, according to his father Ben Narramore. He was chosen to play for the U.S. Under-18 national team for USA Football in Austin.

That event is set for July.
