2014 Wine & Lecture’ Series Debuts: “San Diego Yesterday” with Historian Richard Crawford

Next up in the Coronado Historical Association’s popular “Wine & Lecture” series will be “San Diego Yesterday,” presented by Richard Crawford on Friday, January 10, 2014, 5:30 p.m., in CHA’s Lecture Hall.  Crawford, who has written extensively on local history for the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Journal of San Diego History (which he edited for nine years), in several books and now his own monthly blog, will recall significant events and one-of-a-kind characters that laid the foundation for the San Diego we know today.  Rick, who is Supervisor of Special Collections at the San Diego Public Library, will also share insights into the new downtown library.

The lecture is free; wine is $5 per glass.  No reservation required.  The Lecture Hall is adjacent to the Museum of History & Art, 1100 Orange Avenue, Coronado. For more info visit www.coronadohistory.org or call (619) 435-7242.
