USA Today Gives the Hotel Del a Birthday Smooch
The resort is featured in the national newspaper for its 125th birthday.
The Hotel Del Coronado got a nice birthday gift from USA Today.
The national publication highlighted the resort's many delights as it turns 125, pointing out all the familiar litany of those who have stepped foot there, from heads of state to Hollywood – and real – royalty.
Notably though, USA Today brought national attention to the hotel's birthday plans, which include placing a big bow atop one of its iconic turrets and a Facebook photo contest.
