Fresh, Free Gelato Friday to Celebrate 10 Years of Bottega Italiana

Customers who stop by Nado Gelato by Bottega Italiana Friday will receive gift cards and free gelato to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the gelato business.

Each customer will receive a gift certificate that can be used for future visits and every 10th customer will receive a scoop of free gelato. Other giveaways will also take place.

“We squeeze lemons one-by-one, peel kiwis one-by-one…to give back the real flavor of the fruit. We want the lemon gelato to really taste like lemon, not lemon juice,” said owner David Arato in a statement. Arato grew up in Vicenza, Italy where he learned to make gelato.

Bottega Italiana started in Seattle in 2003. Additional locations were opened in Coronado and San Diego in subsequent years.
