Major Quake Strikes South of Mexico City: Have Any Relatives in the Area?

There's no threat of Pacific-wide tsunami, with no danger to Hawaii, says warning center following 7.6 quake.

News reports say a major earthquake struck southwestern Mexico, with a magnitude of 7.6. The U.S. Geological Survey said the epicenter was 310 miles  east of Ometepec in Guerrero state at a depth of 18 kilometers.

It was 200 miles SSE of Mexico City.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said local tsunami effects were possible — but “based on all available data a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii.” Know anyone in the quake zone?  Heard any reports of damage or injury?
