Parties and fun events are coming up this week for both adults and teens, but they have to get tickets in time to enjoy the festivities:
This chance to glimpse pre-World War II architecture takes place Sunday. Tickets are $35.
prom: One of the big high school milestones is coming up in Mission Bay Saturday. Tickets cost $80 and must be purchased by 3 p.m. Wednesday.
: Celebrate the foundation's 25 years of supporting hospital programs by attending on Saturday at the Hotel del or helping sponsor the event.
And on to less fun, but very practical needs:
Monday through Friday this week. No hazardous waste will be accepted, but if you take out that old lawn chair or other oversized items on your regular trash day they will be picked up.
