Get Out: Race Through The Weekend

Take part in Fleet Week at the base or a couple of festivals nearby.

We’ve reached the end of summer and it’s time to celebrate the first weekend of fall. The season kicks off Friday and the weekend forecast promises cool weather with some clouds to boot. Enjoy the new season with some fun events and activities for you and the family. We’ve got the best bets, near and far, listed below.

This weekend, get out in Coronado and go to a lesson with your community to learn about identity theft (and how to prevent it), see a naval exhibit at a local museum and enjoy a spaghetti dinner. This weekend, Coronado is also hosting a Fleet Week activity with furiously fast cars.
