Surfin' Santa at Seaport Village

Because it never snows in San Diego for Christmas, we have Surfin’ Santa.

For the sixth consecutive year in a row, Surfin' Santa will be sailing into downtown's Seaport Village. Bring the family to take photos with Santa and his giant surfboard, listen to live music and shop around for Christmas presents.

This year, San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) will be having an LED Light Exchange at the event. Bring up to three old strands of holiday lights, along with a current SDG&E bill or California identification, to the East Gazebo from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and exchange them for an equal number of LED strands. The old strands that are turned in will be recycled.
