Empty Bowls Fundraiser
Visit Coronado High for some soup and bowls.
Every year Coronado High School hosts the event Empty Bowls.
Students in CHS Ceramics create unique bowls for the public to purchase and enjoy some soup in.

All proceeds from the empty bowls are donated to The Hunger Project in downtown San Diego.
Cost is just $20 per person, which includes a handmade bowl, soup, bread, and water. A $10 donation will get you soup or a bowl.

Last year, the school raised more than $16,000 which fed 700 people every Sunday for four months.
This year's goal is $18,000.
This event will have musical entertainment provided by Coronado High School musicians and a silent auction with works from local artists in which people can bid on.
