Scream and Shout: Haunted House and Halloween Carnival Today in Coronado

The annual event takes place Friday, Oct. 25, starting at 3:30 p.m. The haunted house is open until 7 p.m.

A spooktacular downtown attraction will get scarier as the day goes on Friday at the Coronado Community Center. 

The Coronado Recreation Department's haunted house promises to be the scariest show in town. This year's theme, "The Haunted Circle," offers chills for tots, teens and adults starting this afternoon. There are scares in store as you make your way through a maze of side shows and adventures under the big top. 

Visit the Haunted Circus:

—Preschool age children and their parents are welcome from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
—Children of all ages and adults are welcome from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
—And the Extreme Haunted House opens its doors to teens and adults from 7 to 9 p.m.

There's plenty more spooky fun for all ages at the Halloween Happening, from 3:30 to 5:30 at the Community Center. Be sure to wear your costume. Activities include carnival games, crafts, a bounce house and a tot lot.

Tickets will be available at the event. There will be food and drinks for purchase.
