E-Waste: Clear Out Clutter

Make way for the new stuff this Christmas at a free recycling event at City Hall Saturday.

Now that Halloween is over, it’s safe to start thinking about your wish list and the new sparkly items you want in your house come Dec. 25. But before you start asking your spouse for a new fridge or that awesome one-cup-at-a-time coffee pot, clear out your old items—it makes for a much more convincing excuse.

This weekend, EDCO is hosting an for Coronado residents. Stop by City Hall with your appliances, like fridges, computers, monitors, microwaves and toasters—anything that plugs in can be brought in. The convenient drop off makes it less stressful for locals, who would usually have to travel across the bridge to get to an e-waste recycling center.

The e-waste you drop off is recycled in a safe way by EDCO, which offers a video explaining the company’s recycling process.
