Love Letter to Coronado
"I know that when I come home, I can count on Holland's to fix my bike, Tartine to fix my hunger, and Mootime to fix my sweet tooth," Cappello said in her open love letter.
Nile Cappello, a former Coronado resident, recently posted a love letter to Coronado on the Huffington Post. The recent UCLA graduate now works for TravelZoo and often visits the Crown City.
She wrote:
Coronado, you might be about as close to paradise as it can get. Your beaches, with the dunes that spell out 'Coronado Island' and sand flaked with gold, are a notch above the rest. There is no feeling quite like crossing your bridge, and seeing the water sparkle around your 2-mile wide island land. And when I drive down your main road, the only one with stoplights, there really is nowhere I'd rather be.
