Kick Off Holidays with Festival at the Hotel del Coronado; Seaside Ice Skating Open
The Holiday Festival is Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hotel Del Coronado.
Celebrate the 125th year of holiday magic at the Hotel del Coronado at the Holiday Festival on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The Del will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with Santa Claus and his elves at Santa’s Village and holiday booths with games and prizes.
Stop by the Grande Hall from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. to watch Coronado School Children perform holiday favorites, or skate along the beachfront ice rink, $23 for adults, $18 for children ages 10 and under. A portion of the skating proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego.
The evening culminates at 6:15 p.m. with a dramatic fireworks display. Also be sure to check out the famed Christmas tree, the first electrically lit outdoor Christmas tree in America.
