Filler' Up for the Holidays; Coronado Gas Prices

Some of the highest gas prices are found in Coronado, it might be best to fill up for the holidays out of town.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was unchanged Monday for the third time in four days, remaining at $3.63. However, in Coronado it was $4.19 per gallon at the Valero on Orange Avenue on Monday.

According to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service, the average price in San Diego County is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago but 3.3 cents more than one month ago and 4.5 cents higher than one year ago.

In addition, since rising 11 times in 12 days, the average price has fallen eight times, risen three times and been unchanged five times.
