Coronado's Relay for Life Saturday Will Benefit American Cancer Society

The community fundraiser to benefit cancer research begins Saturday with a survivors' lap at 10:30 a.m. In the evening, the luminaria procession will take place at 8:30 p.m.

Local teams include St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Naval Base Coronado Chief Petty Officers, Martial Arts America and the Mahjongg Milers.

We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike.
