Dog Found Tied to Tree With Note Looking for Home [Photos]

Editor's Note: PAWS of Coronado released the following announcement.

Meet Zuzu, a female Chihuahua/Min Pin mix. Zuzu is 2 years old and weighs 11.2 pounds.

Sadly our sweet little Zuzu was found tied to a tree here in Coronado with a note attached saying that her family could no longer care for her. So, she made her way to the Coronado Animal Care Facility where she is receiving lots of TLC.

Zuzu is a bit shy but very friendly.

The note attached to Zuzu indicated that she loves to run and chase squirrels.

Zuzu is sweet and calm, but has a very silly and playful side to her and loves the attention that she gets from her people.

She appears to be housebroken and has yet to bark much.

Because of her size, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only dog.

Open your hearts this holiday season and make room for this little doll, she deserves a new beginning with the New Year!

Visit the Coronado Animal Care Facility located at 1395 First Street, next to the Ferry Landing open every day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (except holidays).

You can also contact the PAWS Dog Adoption Counselor at dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org. If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.

Zuzu's Stats:

  • Female Chihuahua/Min Pin mix
  • 2 years old
  • 11.2 lbs.
  • Spayed
  • Up to date on all vaccinations
  • Adoption Fee $125
