The Navy later confirmed these reports and said bin Laden’s body was taken to the Coronado-based aircraft carrier after officials confirmed his death. The terrorist was buried at sea shortly thereafter.
Tanaka, who is the son of a Navy SEAL, talked about what it means to live in a Navy town and sent a message to the troops.
