The Summer Shuttle is running in Coronado! The free service shuttles for residents and visitors shuttles in the Village area of Coronado started Sunday
The city said the shuttle helps reduce vehicle trips along the Orange Avenue Corridor during the peak summer season.
The buses will run through September 14. They run every 30 minutes from 9:03 a.m. to 9:42 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 9:03 a.m. to 10:42 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
"The new service provides four more hours of daily service to the 904 route by beginning one hour earlier and remaining in operation three hours later, seven days a week," the city reported.
A brochure with a map and places of interest around town will be distributed next week to City facilities and will be available on the buses, it said.
