Patch Pet: Mowgli

Mowgli needs a change in luck. He lost his first two families. Third time's the charm?

Will his third try at love be the one that sticks? Times can be hard for many families, but Mowgli's love never wavered. Bottle fed by a team of PAWS of Coronado volunteers, he learned to trust and show his affection early on.

Two families later, he's back at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) for one more try at finding the family that will never let him go. Divorce tore his first family apart and the landlord made an abrupt change in pet policy for his second.

It was a tearful goodbye for both sets of parents who returned him: they loved him very much.

There is no doubt that Mowgli will win the hearts of whomever comes to meet him. His naturally charming personality has been cultivated by the people who have showered him with love. With all this change, Mowgli remains positive, never missing a chance to welcome any visitors.

You can't miss him. He's the black kitty on the top platform with his nose pressed upon the glass.

If you are interested in adopting Mowgli, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption counselors are on call every day between noon and 3:00 p.m.

If you have any questions, please contact the Cat Adoption Team.

Other pets are available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility, 1395 1st St. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., everyday but major holidays. To check out other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com.

All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption. PAWS of Coronado also would like to announce our new program, Feline Baby Boomers/Senior to Senior Adoption.
