The Coronado Police Department collected 10 boxes of unused prescription drugs during the Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 26.
The boxes contained 131.7 pounds of unused prescriptions. This is more than twice the amount collected at the last Prescription Drug Take Back Day in October, where 64 pounds of unused drugs were collected.
