Coronado Moms—Patch Needs You!

We're looking for awesome moms (and dads!) from Coronado to serve on our new Moms Council.

There may be no better place to raise children than Coronado—but that doesn’t exactly make parenting in our Patch a cakewalk. From co-sleeping to college, every mom could use a little help now and then.

Beginning this week, every Wednesday will be “Momsday” here at Patch. We plan to fill the day with family-centric stories geared specifically toward busy moms and dads.  And to help us accomplish our goal, we’re establishing a Mom’s Council, a small group of local moms (and dads!) available to answer all your burning parenting questions.

Need help with a screaming baby?  Don’t know which college to pick?  Having trouble with a bully? Wondering how young is too young for a cell phone?  Concerned about ?  You’re not alone.

Coronado Patch is here to help. But, of course, we can’t do it without you.

We’re on the lookout for awesome mamas to help us answer questions posted by parents, lead discussions of key parenting topics in our area and reach out to online and offline moms’ groups in the community. As a council member, you'll help us improve our coverage of families by suggesting stories to write and you'll also help us recognize outstanding kids in our community. Working moms, single moms, Mr. Moms—we want  to hear from you! Parents with children of any age and situation are welcome.
