The Coronado Bicycle Rodeo and Safe Cycling Festival is Sunday, June 1 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The event, organized by the Coronado Bicycle Advisory Committee in conjunction with the Coronado Recreation Department, will feature an opportunity to register bikes with the Coronado Police Department, learn basic bike maintenance skills, ride the bike safety course, win raffle prizes and give cyclists the chance to pedal their way to a Gatorade slushy.
The family-fun event is sponsored by the Optimist Club of Coronado and Holland's Bicycles.
