‘A Taste of Coronado’ Returns

It’s the foodies’ favorite time of the fall—the chance to have the offerings of many restaurants at their fingertips while benefitting charities.

Gourmands can get their grub on at  Wednesday.

The evening festival involves about 20 local restaurants and shops along Orange Avenue sampling bites of their favorite and fancy dishes. Savory samples of seafood will be served, big burgers will be bit, creamy gelato will melt in mouths and glasses of wine will be downed.

Some participating restaurants include:

  • and more!

Craving Coronadoans can feast on the treats for $35 if they purchase tickets in advance. Last-minuters can still buy tickets at the door, but they’ll cost $45. Advance purchases are recommended, as  event sold out.

Once you buy your e-ticket, you’ll bring it to Rotary Plaza, the 1000 block of Orange Avenue, and exchange it for a tasting card. Guests can stroll ledown Orange or take advantage of a complimentary trolley.

A Taste of Coronado takes place from 5:30-9 p.m. Wednesday. It benefits both and the San Diego Family Justice Center. Eat up!

This is a great event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make it a fun and enrichingRead More experience for my family. We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike. I feel better now with my daughter riding her bike on the busy streets of Coronado. Thanks again to all of the Police Officers, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and local volunteers.
