SDSU Offers ‘Developing the Creative Brief’ Course
The creative brief is a planning tool used widely by advertising agencies and marketing professionals to design or implement a marketing program.
SDSU’s College of Extended Studies will offer a course titled “Developing the Creative Brief” as part of its Professional Certificate in Marketing and Media program on Mondays, Oct. 21-Nov. 18, 6-9 pm.

This course focuses on the tools necessary to understanding a specific target market sufficiently to produce a creative brief and how to craft it to inspire the creative process. It also delves into using the brief as a guide to evaluate whether the creative is on strategy.

Instructor Robert Chisholm is the global marketing communications manager for Hewlett-Packard.
The San Diego Ad Club and SDSU's College of Extended Studies have come together to offer this Professional Certificate in Marketing and Media program. It's designed for early- to mid-career marketing, advertising, public relations, media, and sales professionals, as well as anyone who wants to enter these exciting careers.
