San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria Honors HNTB Corporation for 100 Years of Service

San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and Councilmember Kersey presented HNTB Corporation with a resolution commemorating the firm's centennial of providing infrastructure solutions that improve transportation, create jobs and contribute to the region’s economic vitality, proclaiming February 25th as "HNTB Corporation Day."

On hand from HNTB to accept the award were Vic Martinez, PE, vice president and Southern California office leader, Kevin Reed, PE vice president and San Diego office leader, and Robert Colosimo, PE, Sr. project engineer.

HNTB's history of work in the region dates back to several landmark transportation projects including SANDAG’s Interstate 15 Managed Lanes, North County District’s Positive Train Control Program Management, and the San Diego International Airport Terminal 2 Expansion.

HNTB Corporation is an employee-owned infrastructure firm serving public and private owners and contractors, including the San Diego Associate  Governments and the North County Transit District.

Now celebrating a century of service, HNTB’s contributions can be seen among the largest, most complex bridges, highways, airports, public buildings and public works projects across this city including the San Diego International Airport Terminal Expansion, State Route 91 and the North County Transit District’s Positive Train Control Program Management.  HNTB has five offices in Southern California and employs approximately 250 full time multi-disciplinary professionals.
