ACT Test Prep
GRE: Graduate Record Examination General Test Prep Sessions
Learn how to maximize your test-taking potential on the GRE! This course supported by UCSD Extension will provide classroom instruction about the newly revised GRE including new question types, strategies, and practice tests. This course emphasizes analyzing and reviewing each of the new sections and new question types: quantitative reasoning includes arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data analysis, data interpretation, and word problems; verbal reasoning includes reading comprehension, text completion, and sentence equivalence. The two analytical writing essays are "Analysis of an Issue" and "Analysis of an Argument."Students will receive: 16 hours of instruction; experienced instructors; full GRE practice tests with analysis of results; small classes and additional tutoring, as needed. Students applying to PLNU graduate programs who take the GRE will have their application fee waived.

GMAT: Graduate Management Admissions Test Prep Sessions
Effective preparation for the GMAT is essential! The UCSD Extension instructors provide in-class instruction, successful test-taking strategies, computer adaptive test information, practice exams, and a comprehensive textbook. All of these features create a winning combination. Areas covered are: math ability/problem-solving (including a short review of algebra and geometry), data sufficiency, reading comprehension, sentence correction, critical reasoning, and the analytical writing assessment. Classes also include information about the NEW integrative reasoning section. Students will receive: 16 hours of instruction; Experienced instructors; full GMAT practice tests with analysis of results; small classes and additional tutoring, as needed. Students applying to PLNU graduate programs who take the GMAT will have their application fee waived.

LSAT: Law School Admissions Test Prep Sessions
Let the UCSD Extension instructors give you important insights into the LSAT. The course and accompanying textbook emphasize careful analysis of each exam area and the review of both practice and actual LSAT exams. Question types include - analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, reading comprehension (including comparative reading), and the writing sample. Students will receive: 16 hours of instruction; Experienced instructors; full LSAT practice tests with analysis of results; small classes and additional tutoring, as needed.
CBEST: California Basic Skills Test Prep Sessions

Preparing to be a teacher? Learn how to maximize your test-taking potential on the CBEST! This course will provide classroom instruction about the CBEST test including question types, strategies, and practice tests. This course emphasizes test content in reading comprehension, mathematical computation and essay writing, as well as test taking tips for being successful. The CBEST is required for admission to a teaching credential program. Prepare for your CBEST in a collaborative setting with other teacher candidates and experienced instructors. Students will receive: 8 hours of instruction; experienced instructors; full CBEST practice tests with analysis of results; small classes. Pass the test guaranteed; if you do not pass the test you will be able to take the course over for free.

CSET Multiple Subjects: California Subject Matter Test Prep Sessions
Preparing to be a Multiple Subjects teacher? Learn how to maximize your test-taking potential on the CSET for Multiple Subjects! This course will provide classroom instruction about the CSET test including seven specific content specifications in a) Reading, Language and Literature, b) History and Social Science, c) Mathematics, d) Science, e) Visual and Performing Arts, f) Physical Education, and g) Human Development. This course emphasizes question types, strategies, and practice tests, as well as test taking tips for being successful. Prepare for your CSET in a collaborative setting with other teacher candidates and experienced instructors. Students will receive: 8 hours of instruction; experienced instructors; CSET practice tests with analysis of results; small classes. Pass the test gauranteed; if you do not pass the test you will be able to take the course over for free.
