Jose' Gonzalez, EDCO Ironman to Retire

My two-year-old grandson (now 14 yrs old), used to wait on the doorstep to wave to Jose' Gonzalez as he came by to recycle the greenery of our neighborhood. Jose would always stop to talk amid his busy schedule of hand-dumping every can or pile of greenery put out for removal (Think of that tonnage lifted and dumped over the years!) When the automated bin system came in, Jose drove the mechanized truck picking up the green bins.

Jose is truly a unsung hero for the Coronado Community…
