City Council President Gloria to Speak at SDSU

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to serve as the mayor of San Diego?

 

You can meet Council President Todd Gloria, who previously served as interim mayor of the City of San Diego, when he speaks to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at San Diego State University from 10-11 am Thursday, June 26.

Attendees will get the opportunity to hear from Gloria about his experiences serving in this key leadership role, and to ask him questions.

Cost of the event for individuals ages 50 and better is $5 for members of the Osher Institute and $29 for non-members. (Osher Membership, which is $20 per semester, offers benefits including lower course fees and access to members-only offerings such as book clubs and special events.) The registration deadline is June 12.
