The Aventine and ArtWalk San Diego will hatch the next installment of their pop-up art series, Art a la Carte, on Saturday, August 3 between 5 and 8 p.m. This special event will showcase the vibrant works of local organization ArtHatch’s leading artists while offering guests an interactive summer evening of visual and culinary feasts at the Aventine’s “restaurant row” and four acclaimed restaurants.

Guests are invited to browse a variety of contemporary paintings, photography and more courtesy of ArtHatch, a local organization committed to introducing young and talented artists to the art world through providing free or low cost working studio space, workshops, art supplies, mentorships and more.

Several ArtHatch artists will be at Aventine to meet and mingle with attendees and provide live artistic demonstrations. Featured artists and performers for Saturday, August 3 include: Julie Arroyo, Lindsay Denhof, Cathrine Edllinger-Kunze, Mitchell Hill, Kim Kane Neihans, Kontica Kerbs Palma and Karen Stiles. Live music will be provided by Kev.

Aventine’s four restaurants, including Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Truluck’s Seafood, Steak & Crab House, The Melting Pot and Cafe Japengo, will augment the evening with a variety of cuisine, cocktails and summery specials served on the patios, bars and in dining rooms throughout the night.
