Thank You Coronado!

A big THANK YOU to the good people of Coronado and San Diego for your support of the first annual Walk To End Alzheimer's!

This was held last Saturday from 3-6pm at Silver Strand State Beach, and we all had a blast!

The Alzheimer's Association did a great job in organizing this fund raiser and opportunity to raise money and awareness for finding a cure to the number 3 killer in California.

It is estimated that 50% of all San Diegans know someone personally that is suffering the ravages of this disease!!

The fund raiser on Saturday was a great success!

It was a gorgeous afternoon and all that came were treated to great music, the emcee professionalism of Jim Laslavic, the opportunity to meet the great people of the Alzheimer's Association, the chance to sample the great new chocolate drink sensation from "Mayesa", "Brain Healthy Chocolate Brownies" from Sun and Sea Manor, and much more!

The hundreds of people that participated by walking, volunteering, and getting the word out before the event are all held in our gratitude.

See you all next year!!

This is a great event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make it a fun and enrichingRead More experience for my family. We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike. I feel better now with my daughter riding her bike on the busy streets of Coronado. Thanks again to all of the Police Officers, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and local volunteers.
