Toddler Storytime, Small Chance of Rain and Walking Tour

5 things Coronado residents should know Tuesday, Aug. 13.

1. Parents can bring their kids to Toddler Time at the library at 10:10 a.m. Story Hour for children ages three and above starts at 10:45 a.m.

2. Temperatures are forecast to remain between the low and high 70s for Coronado the rest of the week. Partly cloudy with a 10 percent chance of rain Tuesday and Wednesday. 3. For the out-of-towners and locals exciting about local history, a 90-minute walking tour starts at 11 a.m. at Glorietta Bay Inn every Tuesday.

4. Rock climbing 4-8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Coronado Community Center.

5. The Coronado Museum of History & Art's new 100+ Years of Coronado Yachting exhibit opens Friday but the museum has two permanent exhibits that showcase local history everyday. The museum is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
